The Sahara hotel and Casino has been called a Moroccan palace. It sits at the north end of the Strip looking out over the desert. It is one of the oldest hotels and casino that has only grown in recognition over time. At one time it was used in the classic "Ocean's 11" movie (featuring the Rat Pack) and has been home to famous legends including, Rat Pack and Kyle and Richard Petty.

This virtual ride puts you behind the wheel of an Indy race car as you race to finish first. Speed - The Ride is another great attraction that throws you across a 72 foot loop at a speed of 70 mph. You will travel through the marquee of the Sahara, all the way to the top of its 224 foot tower, and than finally be shot backwards before coming to a complete stop.

Entertainment:

The Sahara is known for hosting famous performers in their infamous Congo Room. Some of the many shows that they host are Platters, Cornell Gunter's Coasters, Beary Hobb's Drifters and Amazing Johnathan. Sahara is also hosts the award-winning Elvis tribute artist Trent Carlini who stars in The Musical History of the King.
